Ingredients

  • 4 cups cooked chickpeas, you can also use 2 cans
  • 2 cans hearts of palm
  • 1 cup chickpea flour
  • 2 tbsp plus more for frying olive oil
  • 1 tsp old bay seasoning
  • to taste salt + pepper

Steps

    1. Place all ingredients in a food processor and blend until combined and the mixture is sticky but shapeable
    2. Using an ice cream scoop or 1/4 measuring cup, scoop out the mixture and shape into cakes about 1in thick
    3. In a pan over med-high heat, pour in oil to cover the bottom of the pan. Place each cake about 1in apart and cook for about 4 min or until browned. Repeat on the other side
